About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Growth Manager to join our team at Steele Charles Ltd.

This exciting opportunity will appeal to an ambitious individual with a strong interest in business growth and development.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Strategy Director in scoping and managing projects and research initiatives.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing and supporting our reporting processes as the business grows.

The successful candidate will be highly professional and aspirational, with a strong commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create strong relationships and networks across the business to assist with operational performance and delivery.
  • Assist in decision-making and implementation of business objectives and operational delivery of initiatives.
  • Manage strategic projects from scope to delivery, in line with objectives and outcomes.
  • Organise and prioritise critical issues and required information for the Director to facilitate efficient discussion and decision-making.
  • Review and oversight of the operational systems and processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leading to innovation and excellence within our business processes.
  • Interpret and present financial and commercial analysis.
  • Research market trends and industry developments and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the team and business units in the supply of quality management information in a timely manner for Board meetings.
  • Ensure key central messaging is delivered effectively to all business units.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in line with business requirements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level is essential, with a preference for an Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance degree.

Required Skills

  • Excellent numerical and organisational skills, with significant attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate colleagues towards collective deadlines.
  • Excellent MS Office suite skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performance team and form good working relationships, internally and externally.
  • A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work/activities to ensure deliverables are met.

Preferred Skills

  • Confident, determined, and deadline-driven.
  • Ability to produce research reports and interpret commercial analysis is essential.
  • Previous experience in a business management role with exposure to corporate governance processes is advantageous.
  • Experience of a fast-growing business.
  • Renewable energy development and/or real estate investment is beneficial.
