Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team in Aberdeen. As a part-time administrator, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll. You will be working closely with the finance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
  • Assist with week-end closing procedures and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts.
  • Generate financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks as required.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Salary Information
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
