Job Summary

The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing remote and on-site technical support to our customers. This will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing technical assistance and guidance to our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote technical support to customers via email, phone, and remote PC login sessions.
  • Perform on-site technical support and commissioning of systems installed by customers.
  • Support the sales team with technical expertise, including site surveys, specification reviews, and quotation preparation.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge and skills to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Fair knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong technical background with a good understanding of electronics, IT, and security industry equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and act decisively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on delivering clear and concise instructions to customers.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
