Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (UCT)
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Urgent Care Team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Develop and implement new services and initiatives to improve patient care
- Contribute to the development of the Trust's child and adolescent mental health services
- Participate in education and training activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues
Person Specification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practice
- Section 12 MHA Approved
- Approved Clinician status (or undertaking to obtain this on taking up the post)
- Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrist (MRCPsych) or equivalent qualifications/certification
- Listing on the Specialist Register of the GMC Medical Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or eligible to register within six months of interview date)
