Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Tagged Resources Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day finance functions and reporting to the Management Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Review and approve all transactions covered by Letters of Credit.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Produce quarterly agents commission reports.
  • Develop and maintain Marketing Fund reporting.
  • Assist with SLT and Management reporting as required.
  • Prepare daily KPI reports, departmental KPIs, and assist with month-end closure.
  • Assist with License and Royalty reporting.
  • Invoice Finance reconciliation and invoices upload.
  • Identify and drive process improvements in alignment with the role.
  • Check bills of Exchange before they are settled.
  • Perform daily data runs of BOMs from Syspro.
  • Maintain user login data on Syspro to eliminate inactive logins.
  • Cover for posting AP invoices, matching invoices with GRN, and liaising with the merchandising team to resolve queries.
  • Review weekly payment runs prepared by AP.
  • Ensure regular reviews of payments on account and unmatched GRNs.
  • Support AP process improvement projects, such as reviewing and updating supplier payment terms and moving to a 100% paperless process.

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified.
  • Prominent level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Satisfactory level of experience in multi-currency Accounts Payable.
  • Manufacturing, stock, and PPV experience will be an advantage.
  • Experience of GL, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes.
  • Ability to resolve queries and problem-solve.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, graphs, and charts, as well as Vlookup and Hlookup formulas and conditional formatting.
  • Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge.
  • ERP System knowledge, preferably Syspro.
  • Ability to transfer raw data into meaningful information.
  • Desire to learn and get involved in projects and improvements.
  • Willingness to learn new things.
  • Good people skills and ability to communicate with people of all levels throughout the business.
  • Able to work under pressure in a challenging environment and meet deadlines.
  • Well-organized with good time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and hands-on approach.
