- Regularly review control account reconciliations to facilitate year-end accounting, including profit and loss analysis.

- Oversee the sales and purchase ledger processes, providing necessary authorizations.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and support the annual audit process to ensure timely completion.
- Authorize bank transactions and manage overhead costs.
- Handle daily cash flow management effectively.
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Submit monthly and quarterly returns to HMRC.
- Provide comprehensive reports and updates to the management team.
- Conduct monthly one-on-ones and annual performance reviews with team members to foster development and identify improvement areas.
- Timely identification and reporting of risks to senior management.

- Proven experience in managing an accounting team or department.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
