About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Builders Merchants and Contractors, providing technical expertise and assistance, and converting incoming enquiries into orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full product training to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our specialist products and services
  • Respond to incoming enquiries via email and phone, providing technical expertise and assistance
  • Create quotations from client enquiries, maintaining and increasing the conversion rate of quotations to orders
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management, working with Contractors and/or Builders Merchants
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and assistance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
