Job Overview

We are seeking a Live In Care Professional to work on a two weeks on, two weeks off schedule. This role involves providing non-medical services to help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal care - continence support, washing and dressing
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation
  • Home maintenance - cleaning and ensuring general upkeep of the house
  • Companionship - supporting overall wellbeing

Care professionals will have their own bedroom within the client's property.

Requirements
  • Experience working in care
  • Treating and caring for clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Adapting to various living environments and locations
  • Listening, communicating clearly and building relationships with clients and their families in a friendly manner
  • Working professionally with Home Instead office teams and other social and healthcare professionals
  • Respecting individuals with medical conditions and different backgrounds and beliefs
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and make decisions at short notice
  • Good hygiene practice and smart appearance
  • This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body
  • Class 1 business insurance if using own car for business purposes
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will earn £120 per day, plus mileage contribution, workplace pension scheme and other benefits.
