Job Title: Care Companion Specialist

We are Active Care Group, a leading provider of complex care services. Our mission is to support individuals with spinal cord injury, neurological, and acquired brain injuries to live independently in their own homes.

Job Summary: As a Live In Support Worker, you will provide personal care (including washing, dressing, and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities for our clients. You will work on assignments 2 weeks long with regular consistent work and rolling rotas.

About the Role: To be successful, you will need a kind and caring nature, flexibility, reliability, good communication skills, and an Enhanced DBS. You can look forward to a zero hour contract with a rate of £805 per week / £115 per day, accrued holiday pay, a Nest Personal Pension account, recognition for Active Behaviours, a Refer a Friend Scheme, and the support of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care for clients, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with moving and handling of clients.
  • Perform domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Participate in social activities with clients.
