Medical Care Companion

The EMED Group is recruiting for a Medical Care Companion to join our team in Kibworth, Leicestershire. As a Medical Care Companion, you will provide support to patients who require assistance with mobility and daily living tasks during their transport to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.
Your responsibilities will include lifting, securing and helping service users in and out of the Ambulance, transferring patients from beds to stretchers, chairs to chairs or similar both in and out of hospital and medical/commercial flights, and assisting service users with challenging behaviour and/or mental health illnesses.
We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including life assurance, 24/7 online GP consultation and access to prescriptions.
