As a Compliance Officer - Water Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring that our water systems comply with relevant standards and legislation. This includes implementing and managing operational systems related to water systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation, and working closely with the Authorising Engineer to ensure audits, reviews, and advice are acted upon.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance with water systems using dedicated software systems, expediting requirements to fulfill, and ascertaining the position of compliance against agreed KPIs. You will produce periodic reports indicating such, including cause/effect with recommendations to address any gaps.

This role involves managing a range of key Water Safety-related Contractors, reviewing their performance on a regular basis, and monitoring actions of the in-house team and their function with regard to water safety compliance and PPM programmes in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit, manage, and maintain compliance with the Trust's Water Safety Plan
  • Manage a range of key Water Safety-related Contractors, reviewing their performance on a regular basis
  • Monitor actions of the in-house team and their function with regard to water safety compliance and PPM programmes in place
  • Manage, review, and maintain all actions relating to Water Risk Assessments, sampling programs, and the water system PPM activity as logged on Compass software system to ensure timely actions

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
