About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PET-CT Radiographer to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic and LOC. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, rotating between THSC and LOC departments as required.
  • Prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality, liaising with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  • Assist with training of new staff, ensuring a smooth transition and high-quality patient care.
  • Comply with legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety, in particular Radiation Protection and Infection Control.
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, supporting departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.
  • Ensure quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy, recording and reporting faults in a timely manner and implementing corrective action where necessary.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required, and assist with the implementation of new policies within the department.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice, ensuring a positive patient experience.
Person Specification
  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent, with previous senior-level experience in PET-CT and Diagnostic CT.
  • Previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine is desirable, but not essential.
