The role of a Clinical Specialist Nuclear Medicine Technologist at The Wellington Hospital involves working with cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality patient care.
The hospital is the UK's largest independent hospital, with over 260 beds and 1000 employees. It has an international reputation for excellence in complex healthcare, treating patients from the UK and overseas.
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the Hybrid Functional Imaging & Nuclear Medicine department, which features advanced SPECT-CT and PET-CT systems.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking all Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanning procedures within the department, as well as performing in-vitro counting and radio-pharmacy procedures according to local protocols.
Key skills and qualifications required for this position include experience in Clinical Nuclear Medicine Imaging and radio pharmaceuticals dispensing techniques, as well as broad experience in nuclear medicine data processing.
A Nuclear Medicine degree or other relevant Science degree with a Post Graduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Imaging would be advantageous.
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a full-time position, with 37 hours worked per week. The shift times are 5 hour shifts Monday-Friday between 08:00am and 20:00pm.
