About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our B2B Sales team and spearhead the growth of our Third Party Intermediary (TPI) channel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing high-performing teams, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets in line with the company's B2B Sales strategy.
  • Manage the TPI team's daily activities, ensuring seamless execution and maximum productivity.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy in collaboration with senior management.
  • Maximize sales conversion rates for retention and acquisition, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including energy consultants, brokers, and intermediaries.
  • Assess and meet partner sales needs, providing tailored solutions and support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet objectives and expectations, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Cross-promote the company brand and products, highlighting our unique value proposition and competitive edge.
  • Implement innovative approaches for new clients, staying ahead of the curve in terms of industry trends and best practices.
  • Manage team pipeline activity and support escalations, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Host regular meetings to discuss progress, provide feedback, and set goals, driving team performance and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B Sales and Business Development, with a strong track record of sales growth and team management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the energy industry and TPI B2B energy market, with a deep understanding of market trends and competitor landscape.
  • Strong analytical, relationship-building, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
