Job Description: National Account Manager - Foodservice Distributors

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses.

We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with major customers in the foodservice industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business plan that aligns with the corporate strategy and drives growth in the identified markets and customers.
  • Communicate weekly with the Head of Sales to report on customer, competitor, and current activity.
  • Set an action plan each month, listing customer visits and face-to-face or video meetings.
  • Liaise with the Head of Sales to inform him of market developments and opportunities for product development, working to bring these to fruition.
  • Supporting customers as appropriate, attending trade fairs, organizing showroom displays, and conducting training, marketing, and advertising.

Requirements:

  • Track record in account management and business development in the packaging and/or foodservice arena, having previously or currently managed clients like Brakes, Bidfood, Elior, etc.

£8k Car Allowance, 15% annual bonus, plus benefits.
