About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Key Account Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts across Canada. You will also supervise and support regional managers to increase sales and profitability.

About the Role:

  1. Demonstrate key account leadership (maintenance, growth development and rebid) of the top strategic customers across Canada
  2. Maintain customer relationships with key accounts
  3. Develop and execute growth initiatives in these key accounts
  4. Respond to RFP and contract renewals in these key accounts
  5. Site visits for growth opportunities and regular business reviews
  6. Own the customer relationship and be the primary contact
  7. Upsell current services

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely issue resolution
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, such as upselling and cross-selling
  3. Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including sales performance data and customer feedback
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
  5. Conduct site visits and regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  1. At least 10 years of experience in account management (ideally in vending), with a post-secondary education degree or diploma
  2. Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and database management
  3. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. A good business acumen that enables you to quickly understand and deal with situations that lead to a favourable outcome
  6. Ability to work well under pressure with multiple concurrent deadlines
  7. You have demonstrated the ability to design, develop and implement significant process improvements, following these through to successful implementation
