About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team at Fevaca, a company specializing in providing support to children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Our team consists of experienced professionals from various backgrounds, including social work, teaching, and social care.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a tight-knit team to provide specialized quality care for children and young people aged 13-18 years. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in making a positive difference in the lives of our residents, helping them to overcome their previous trauma and learn to trust in adults again.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships and trust bonds with young people living in our homes
  • Support residents in achieving their goals and promoting independence, education, and health and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe and supportive environment
  • Participate in training programs, including Safeguarding, DOLs, and MCA, to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and support plans
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Flexible availability over weekends
  • Genuine care and compassion for children and young people
  • Ability to keep accurate records and carry out recording and reporting in a person-centered, factual manner
  • Willingness to attend training and further your knowledge
  • Good communication and written skills, with fluent English
  • Positive problem-solving approach to challenging situations
  • Reliability and good time-keeping
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.52 per hour, plus £35 per sleep-in shift
