Key Responsibilities- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives, depending on their age and individual needs.
- Maintain a homely and friendly culture within the residential home, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being among residents.
- Develop strategies to manage challenging behaviors, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Protect young people from risks to their health and welfare, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, helping them to develop independence and self-confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, social workers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
- Experience working with young people, preferably in a residential setting, is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to commute to Ely, Cambridgeshire, and possess a full UK manual driver's license.
- Over 21 years old.
- Opportunity to complete the Level 3 Children & Young People qualification - fully funded.
