About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Fevaca. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people residing in our homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring the needs and goals of each young person are met.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as safeguarding, attachment theory, and child development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all young people.
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Flexible availability over weekends.
  • Genuine care and compassion for children and young people.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and carry out reporting in a person-centered, factual manner.
  • Commitment to working safely and ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to attend training and further your knowledge.
  • Good communication and written skills, with fluent English.
  • Positive problem-solving approach to challenging situations.
  • Reliability and good time-keeping.
