Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will support young people aged 8-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their lives.
- Maintain a safe and friendly environment in the home.
- Deal with challenging behaviors when necessary.
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
- Provide support and promote independence and well-being.
- Maintain a safe environment and ensure the safety of students.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people or in a healthcare/social care setting is desirable.
- Must be a car driver and able to commute to Ely, Cambridgeshire.
- Must be over 21 years old.
