Job Title: Director of Product Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Product Engineering to lead our software development team in creating innovative cloud-based platforms for medical devices.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, specifically in the SaMD field, and experience in managing day-to-day operations and driving growth and development of the product team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of cloud-based platforms and integration, ensuring seamless interaction with user interfaces and other systems.
  2. Manage a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet medical device industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements from a medical standpoint, including data security, patient data integrity, and privacy.
  4. Develop and implement software development methodologies and best practices to ensure high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • Strong software development background, especially in SaMD, with a track record of successful product development.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and integration, specifically in a medical context.
  • Knowledge of the medical device or in vitro diagnostic (IVD) industry.
  • Ability to understand and implement medical device regulations and standards.
