We're a team of skilled professionals who excel in our respective fields, and we're looking for a talented Operations Development Director to join our leadership team.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Operations Development Director to play a critical role in optimizing operational processes, managing key operations projects, and ensuring that all operational activities align with the company's goals and standards. As a member of our leadership team, you'll foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, ensuring that our operations are not only effective but also scalable to support future growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the operations of our UK lab and workshop, ensuring safety, efficiency, and the highest standards of quality control.
  • Supervise the Procurement Officer, leading supplier onboarding, including negotiating NDAs, contracts, completing supplier questionnaires, and managing ongoing supplier relationships to ensure effective performance and compliance.
  • Supervise the IT Manager, who manages the IT team and software infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure IT operations that are scalable to support future growth and expansion.
  • Lead Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance across the business.
  • Continually improve operational processes across the business to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability, ensuring that all departments adhere to best practices.
  • Handle the renewal of client Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring project team awareness and compliance, and manage operational oversight of insurance requirements and renewals.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the other Heads of Function and the Leadership team to ensure the operations function supports project execution effectively.
  • Support Company Growth: Play a key role in supporting the company's growth initiatives, including the expansion into new markets.
  • International Expansion: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful establishment and operation of new offices, aligning with global operational standards and practices.

Requirements:

  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in the medical device or consumer product industries.
  • Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with SAP Business ByDesign or similar IT system implementations.
