About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Change Manager to join our Service Transformation Programme on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will support the Senior Business Change Delivery Manager in delivering Business and People Readiness outcomes at both a programme and an individual project level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective project delivery plans and engage in project governance and status reporting, including identifying and managing risks.
  • Work collaboratively with business and project leads to articulate vision, case for change, and key messages, and coach and support on dissemination and addressing resistance.
  • Engage and align key business leads, build their understanding of planned changes to gain commitment, and prepare them for go-live and beyond.
  • Complete early business impact analysis and share impacts to build understanding both for business and project team colleagues.
  • Develop a comms approach and plan, and support development and delivery of comms assets working with the Readiness network and Internal Comms colleagues.
  • Complete business impact analysis and use as input to development of the go-live approach for new service, and develop a transition checklist/plan for go-live.
  • Engage with training teams for planning and design of training and user support activities, develop the end-user support approach, and assist in the set up and running of support channels and routines.
About You
  • Strong business and people readiness skills, including principles, methods, and tools.
  • Experience leading and delivering readiness activities on IT-enabled change projects.
  • Organised and methodical in approach to planning, with experience of delivering end-to-end at a project level, leading readiness activities for specific projects, problem-solving, and working flexibly responding to changing demands.
  • Experience delivering readiness activities for technology change based on waterfall and agile approaches.
  • Ability to multitask across activities and projects.
Working Schedule

This role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL, and is a 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you to work from home and come into the office (minimum of 2 days per week).
