About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to support our service users in their journey towards recovery.
  • As a key member of our team, you will provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, ensuring that each individual receives the necessary care and support.
  • You will work closely with service users, carers, and community stakeholders to promote recovery, resilience, and self-determination.
  • With your strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field, you will be able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, IT, and time management skills are essential for this role, as you will be working independently and as part of a team.
  • Your good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices will enable you to provide high-quality support to our service users.
  • We are looking for a supportive team player who can work collaboratively with professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Able to manage change successfully, you will prioritize the needs of our service users while upholding information governance processes.
  • To ensure ongoing learning and development, you will seek out opportunities to improve your professional knowledge and skills, as well as contribute to the growth of others.

What We Offer:

  • An attractive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience), offering a competitive package that reflects the value we place on our staff.
