Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Recovery Specialist to join our team in Nottingham, UK. As a key member of our 3rd Party Debt Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by recovering outstanding debts through third-party agencies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the debt sale process, liaising with external agencies, and monitoring recovery performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Agency Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external debt collection agencies to drive effective debt recovery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse recovery performance to identify areas for improvement and optimise processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines to minimise risk.
  • Third Party Contact: Resolve queries from third-party partners and support customers through the litigation process and internal insolvency procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: The ability to use data insights to inform decision making and drive business outcomes.
  • Experience in Debt Collection: Previous experience in debt collection or a related field is essential for this role.

  • Salary: £24,195 - £26,010 per annum, dependent on experience.

  • Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM.
