Front Office Operations Manager

The Caledonian Edinburgh is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Front Desk Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our front office operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
We are offering a competitive salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionThe role of the Assistant Front Desk Manager involves assisting in supervising the front office team, ensuring that all team members are prepared and informed to deliver exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for managing and creating exceptional first impressions for our guests, evaluating levels of customer service, and organizing and structuring work schedules to meet business needs.
In addition, you will be expected to operate with a sales mindset, promoting our hotel's loyalty scheme and maximizing room occupancy at best rates. You will also have the opportunity to implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be product savvy, knowledgeable in expected services and pricing, and able to delegate tasks while addressing business needs.
A relevant qualification in hospitality or a related field would be advantageous, but not essential. What's more important is your passion for delivering exceptional customer service and your willingness to learn and grow with our team.
