Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Front Desk Manager to join our team at The Caledonian Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support the Front Office Team to ensure effective team management.
  • Guest Services: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional customer service, with a focus on personalized attention and tailored solutions.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage room occupancy and rates to maximize revenue, while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Skills: Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Creativity: Demonstrate a creative approach to problem-solving, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Customer Focus: Show enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a strong focus on personalized attention and tailored solutions.
  • Experience: Have experience in a similar role or be willing to learn and develop skills.
  • Availability: Be able to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends as required.
