Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Matthews International. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Account Director in the successful running of the account and the account team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Director in all aspects of the PepsiCo & GU account, including managing the day-to-day running of projects and ensuring that client needs are met.
  • Train, motivate, and develop the SGK Internal Client Co-Ordinator team to ensure a cohesive team that delivers consistently.
  • Organize and minute monthly Team Meetings to ensure that all topics are addressed.
  • Manage queries and review with the team to aid efficient delivery from the Operations team in a timely fashion.
  • Support the Account Director in carrying out any recruitment required for the account, monitor holidays, and sickness.
  • Work with the Account Director to collate volumes for Forward Loading requirements.
  • Ensure regular meetings are held with the Account Director to ensure that SGK's performance is meeting expectations, provide feedback on KPIs, and identify areas of opportunity and business growth.
  • Ensure good financial management of the account, including supporting on Periodic invoicing alongside the Account Director.
  • Remain a buddy for the Account Director and cover holidays and sickness when required.

Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure that relationships are maintained with all other members of the Client teams and that any issues are resolved immediately should they arise.
  • Attend all high-profile projects and be a support for weekly Client meetings where trouble shooting/support is required.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell services from other areas of the business, outside pure artwork & repro, and discuss with the Account Director.
  • Develop and build on existing relationships with Bottler and Client, through regular contact and meetings.

Requirements

  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Flexible and hardworking.
  • A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach.
  • Smart appearance and professional attitude.
  • Approachable and trustworthy.
  • PC literate – Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience of industry web-based briefing and approval systems.
  • Knowledge of print or repro.
  • Knowledge of design, retail, brand, and packaging.
