Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mental Health Support Team as a Mental Health Practitioner/Senior. You will be working with children and young people in schools and colleges, providing evidence-based interventions to support their mental wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering low-intensity group and individual interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, as well as their families and carers. You will work closely with school staff to foster a whole-school approach to mental wellbeing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- a relevant professional qualification in mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy;
- experience of delivering evidenced-based CBT interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues;
- good communication, assessment, planning, and recording skills;
- the ability to travel to meet the requirements of the post.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.
