Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEMH provision in Sutton, Ashfield.

Salary: £13 per hour.

As a Teaching Assistant at this specialist school, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your main responsibilities will include preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and providing supervision as needed.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who has their GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths. You will work closely with the experienced team to deliver high-quality education and support to our pupils.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding when working with challenging behaviors. You will be expected to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention training, which includes the use of physical restraint, to ensure pupil and adult safety.
