Job Overview:
We are recruiting for a teaching assistant to join our team at a special needs school in Gorton. The successful candidate will work with pupils who require additional support, including those with autism and complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Responsibilities:
The teaching assistant will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to pupils, assisting with personal care and moving and handling tasks, and promoting positive behaviors. They will work closely with the teaching staff to develop strategies to support pupils with their learning and behavior.

Benefits:
This role offers a competitive daily rate of up to £95, paid bi-weekly. The school is easily accessible by bus or car and offers a collaborative and inclusive team environment. We also offer opportunities for professional development and training.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, overseas police clearances (if applicable), and two professional reference checks. You will also need to provide a CV with a full history and hold the legal right to work in the UK. Some experience working with teenagers or young adults is preferred.

Estimated Salary: Up to £95 per day.
