Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Class Teacher at Sutherland House School. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with autistic children and young people aged 3-19, creating personalized learning opportunities that cater to their unique needs.
The successful candidate will have a passion for improving the lives of autistic pupils and their families, with a commitment to planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students with autism
- Develop and implement personalized education plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Work collaboratively with therapists and other professionals to ensure students reach their full potential
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience working with autistic pupils or in additional needs environments (training provided)
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- An extensive induction program with autism specialist training
