Culinary Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Care Specialist to join our team at Methodist Homes in Whitstable. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing the efficiency, hygiene and safety in the kitchen, while ensuring that residents receive nutritious and delicious meals.
With a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, you will work closely with our team to plan menus, prepare meals, and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents.
We offer a competitive salary of £13.54 per hour, plus a range of benefits including 20 days holiday, life assurance, and access to nationally recognised training courses and qualifications.
About the role
As a Culinary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the kitchen and catering operations to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Planning and preparing meals that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents receive tailored meal plans and support
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to HACCP principles and legislative standards
