Culinary Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Care Specialist to join our team at Bradbury Grange in Whitstable.
As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing the efficiency, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen, as well as organizing and supervising other staff working in the kitchen.
You will prepare, cook, and serve meals for residents on a daily basis, respecting their rights to privacy, dignity, and choice. Planning menus to provide nutritionally balanced and attractive meals is also a crucial aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Organize and supervise kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Prepare and cook meals for residents, using fresh ingredients and following recipes and guidelines.
- Plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences, including special diets.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, menu planning, and budget management.
- Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of culinary expertise, with a focus on menu planning, kitchen management, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, residents, and families.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
