Special Needs Educator

We are looking for an experienced educator to join our team as a Special Needs Educator. This is a long-term to permanent position, offering a competitive daily rate of £90-£110.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to children in Year 1 and Year 2, focusing on phonics, reading interventions, and tailored SEND support.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver targeted phonics and reading interventions to small groups and individual pupils.
- Provide SEND support, including speech and language interventions, to help children access learning effectively.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to plan and implement interventions.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages learning and development.
- Previous experience supporting phonics, reading, or SEND interventions.
- Understanding of strategies to support speech and language development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and patient approach to working with children.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEND (desirable).
