Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN assistant to join our team in Hackney, London. The successful candidate will work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

About the Role:
  • Support students with SEN in a mainstream primary school setting.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure consistent support and communication.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student independence and self-confidence.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and modify materials and resources to meet individual student needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN laws and regulations.
