About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide high-level support for teaching and learning for pupils attending our brand-new autism provision at Ark Brunel Primary Academy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their skills and contribute to the education of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level support for teaching and learning for pupils with autism or special educational needs
- Lead learning and activities at a whole-class level
- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with autism or special educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students
Requirements:
- Experience working with pupils who have autism or special educational needs
- Good knowledge of autism-specific strategies
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
