About the Role:
Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality, Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and quality are upheld across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for all Health & Safety and Quality issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with H&S policies and maintain high-quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, generating detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with HSE legislation and ensure the company's practices align with regulatory requirements, maintaining a proactive approach to compliance.
- Training and Development: Lead and deliver in-house training on Health & Safety and Quality management, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration, promoting a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Quality, Health and Safety role, with a strong understanding of HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
