We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Finsbury Food Group, a leading speciality bakery group in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. This will involve working closely with our operations team to investigate customer complaints, conducting regular internal audits, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating customer complaints and identifying root causes
  • Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with BRC and customer codes of practice
  • Implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality and food safety issues
  • Managing micro and nutritional databases, reporting, investigating, escalating, and resolving issues
  • Assisting the QA Manager in maintaining the site's BRC certification and QMS

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence others. They will also have a strong awareness of food safety and allergen controls, with experience of working in a GMP environment.
