About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Ultrapharm site in Pontypool. As a key member of our cross-functional maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site's equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of site breakdowns and ensure quick diagnosis and corrective action
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety and Hygiene standards at all times
  • Participate in planned maintenance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Mentor and coach other engineers and production operators
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement culture and identify opportunities to reduce site waste and maintenance spends

Requirements

  • Time-served apprentice or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
  • Skills in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in fault finding
  • 18th edition electrical certification
  • PLC programming capability
  • Ability to mentor and coach other engineers
