Global Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Payroll Analyst to join our long-term client for a full-time, fixed-term position of 6 months. The role is located in the UK and offers flexible hybrid working with a majority of remote work.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily payroll tasks, including backfilling roles to support team members during Testing and Parallel run phases.
- Monitor and manage the shared mailbox for payroll enquiries.
- Conduct complex calculations for Maternity Leave, Long-Term Sickness (LTS), Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), and employee departures.
- Oversee all ad hoc data, pension and benefit changes across a dozen payrolls, including one weekly payroll and two pensioner payrolls.
- Raise ad hoc advances and process third-party payments.
- Conduct system audits between HR and payroll systems.
- Complete month-end payroll controls before payroll release.
- Generate payroll reports at month-end.
- Extensive experience within payroll department.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft and Excel.
- Ideally from a payroll Bureau background and experience with Payrite FMP/IRIS.
- A competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum.
