Sales and Business Development Professional

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team in Coventry, covering the Midlands and North regions. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in these areas.
About Us:
Our client is a respected plant-hire supplier with five regional depots across the UK, serving various industry sectors such as construction, rail, and events. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and exceptional service, we have built a reputation for delivering high-quality equipment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Midlands and North regions
- Bid for tenders and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue potential
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business growth
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with company objectives
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform sales decisions and stay ahead of competitors
Requirements:
- Proven track record of sales success in a field-based role
- Strong understanding of the plant-hire industry and its trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of CRM software and data analysis tools
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including a company car, fuel card, laptop, and phone.
