We are looking for an exceptional individual to fill the position of Autism Teaching Assistant at our Special Needs School in Abingdon.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to reach their full potential.
As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that allows students to develop their social, communication, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised support to students with ASD, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with ASD.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in supporting students with ASD.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with children with diverse needs and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community.
Salary: £90 per day
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Abingdon
