About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Professional to join our team as a Special Educational Needs Assistant. As part of this role, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide emotional and mental health support to students with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support pupils in achieving their academic milestones while enhancing their interpersonal and life skills
  2. Collaborate with Teachers, Support Staff, and multi-therapy teams to develop positive behaviour strategies
  3. Improve communication through speech and language support, visual aids, and Makaton

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with Special Needs and be passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals. This opportunity allows Psychology or Criminology Graduates to gain invaluable experience in special needs, neurodiversity, and mental health difficulties.
