Therapeutic SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Wheatley

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a specialist school in Oxford, England.

The role involves providing emotional and mental health support to students with Autism and learning disabilities, as well as working closely with Teachers and Support Staff to develop and implement effective strategies for pupils with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with multi-therapy teams to develop and implement individualised plans for pupils.
  2. Providing speech and language support, visual aids, and Makaton to improve communication.
  3. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
