We are seeking a skilled Utilities Coordinator to join our team at Connect It Utility Services Limited, a leading multi-utility company based in Hedge End, Southampton. As an administrative professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our estimating department.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced construction and utilities environment, assisting estimators with project administration, handling various aspects of project coordination, and creating and submitting applications to relevant external utility companies.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily office operations, including answering phones and responding to queries, as well as organizing and managing online files, records, and documentation related to utility projects.

You will work closely with our Multi-Utility Estimators to prepare estimates for utility construction projects, including gathering data, performing research, and completing relevant application forms to the DNOs (Distribution Network Operators). Additionally, you will be responsible for:

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Preparing accurate estimates for utility construction projects, including gathering data, performing research, and completing relevant application forms to the DNOs.
  • Working closely with Multi-Utility Estimators to complete land searches and create precise location boundaries.
  • Calculating load required for residential & commercial developments in order to complete applications to the IDNO's for Asset Values.
