About the Role

This position involves managing a dynamic and complex caseload, balancing risk, choice, and individual rights. The successful candidate will have experience working with adult safeguarding and managing Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act 2014.

You will be responsible for undertaking duty worker functions, including screening new safeguarding concerns and making decisions per Section 42 criteria. Additionally, you will support students, newly qualified, and less experienced colleagues with their development and complex cases.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year post-qualified experience in social care, preferably in adult safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and service users.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
