Senior Estimator and Project Manager Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging new role that offers autonomy and the chance to make a genuine impact?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator and Project Manager to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our commercial fit out team, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing all phases of interior construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal and external project managers/estimators team
  • Develop project delivery processes, subcontractor management, pricing and estimating procedures to deliver profitable projects and ensure client satisfaction
  • Conduct site visits to meet trades, attend client meetings and survey buildings for preparation of plans
  • Liaise with the sales team and receive project details for quotation
  • Create works schedules and programmes for sub-contractors to price from
  • Create detailed costed quotations to cover scope of works
  • Manage the panel production department
  • Project manage site agents on projects across the South West region

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in producing accurate, detailed quotations and project managing commercial and/or educational premises refurbishments
  • Degree level qualification such as a BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working for a main contractor as a QS
