Volunteer Coordinator Specialist

The position contributes to bringing together local volunteers, disabled and/or socially isolated, by providing activities at the Centre's café and social events.
Key Responsibilities- Recruiting, placing, training, and retaining volunteers.
- SUPPORTING VOLUNTEERS TO FIND SUITABLE ACTIVITIES AND WORK WITH THEM TO ENHANCE THEIR EXPERIENCE AND CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.
- Liaising with staff to develop new activities and apply for funding.
The Coordinator will work closely with the Centre Manager, Café Manager, and Events Manager to manage the existing volunteer programme and review additional opportunities. The estimated salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
