**Job Title:** Volunteer Programme Coordinator

About the Role:

The Chester Voluntary Action is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Programme Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in bringing together local volunteers, disabled and/or socially isolated individuals, by providing activities at our Centre's café and social events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, placing, training, and retaining volunteers
  • Supporting volunteers to find suitable activities
  • Enhancing their experience and contributing to their personal development
  • Liaising with staff to develop new activities and apply for funding

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will work closely with the Centre Manager, Café Manager, and Events Manager to manage the existing volunteer programme and review additional opportunities.

Salary Information:

We are offering an estimated annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, which reflects the skills and qualifications required for this role.
